The group, going by just M7, gather at Worlds of Fun. There, they see Gigantor in all of his 100 feet, 30 IQ glory. Most of the heroes, including Samuel Troyer and Jake Donna, attempt to knock out Gigantor; Artificer concentrates on rescuing 10 people stuck on a roller coaster, while Viera goes to get ice cream.
During the battle, Samuel is knocked out, but is woken up by lightning strike. Jake makes a tree-based copy of Helda that is quite effective in battle. Viera, however, seems uninterested in superhero antics. Although tough, Gigantor goes down after about 30 seconds. After going unconscious, Gigantor returns to his normal size. Gigantor is allowed to go, to return to Iowa with Samuel’s father.
M7 return to the tower. After having a moment to catch their breath, Sage remembers to check the notepad on Duplicator-X’s desk. She’s easily able to find the impression of numbers written down. They are GPS coordinates to a location in Alaska. Art recalls making a request to Gravatar Industries for a transport jet many years ago. He calls Gravatar, and finds the order had a number wrong in the original request (they sent floppy disks instead). Gravatar says he’ll send the jet the next morning.
On Friday morning, Martha (technically, M.A.R.T.H.A.) finally makes her appearance. She passes out upon first seeing Art; after “rebooting” she scolds Art for leaving for so long and not telling her. Martha agrees to answer the phones and perform other duties at M7 Tower. Their conversation ends with an awkward hug.
M7 travels to Alaska and begin to search. Helda picks up the smell of bacon. They find an underground base, where Duplicator-X, or one of his clones, is cooking breakfast for thirteen. They take him into custody. They also find the missing prison cell that was stolen three months ago, with someone inside.
While this is occurring, the teenagers and Apollo decide to take the transport jet for a spin. Zamus, however, hears the jet and proceeds to stop them with extreme prejudice. M7 then heads home.
